Reflection

Each generation inherits a world shaped by the choices of those before it. Yet with that inheritance comes an opportunity: to look inward, to question, and to create something better. TEDxDhahranHighSchool 2016 explores the power of reflection on our society, our technology, and ourselves. From rethinking how we treat mental illness to examining how social media reshapes memory, each talk challenges us to pause and consider the unseen consequences of progress. Whether confronting environmental sustainability, redefining responsibility across generations, or rediscovering empathy through awareness, this year’s speakers remind us that meaningful change begins with understanding. Students, educators, and innovators from around the world gather to reflect on who we are today and envision who we can become tomorrow. Together, we will learn that reflection is not a pause from progress, but the spark that drives it forward.
